I'm on Gwen's computer. Me and a slice of strawberry pie. That "on" was figurative, of course. We are listening to Roy Orbison, of course.

Tomorrow, I should have confirmation that my laptop is in fact toasted beyond toastage. I have most things backed up, fortunately. I think. And I have a replacement picked out that dad will be ordering for me as soon as I check a couple things with Jeff and give the word. So long, nice stack of savings. From now on, the answer to all questions is going to have to be: no. With certain exceptions that I won't go into now.

Film fest is going well enough. Haven't received last weekend's numbers yet, but it seemed pretty decent.
