December 27, 2006 to January 1, 2007 - whenever
Lost - (or, rather, missed) my flight from Toronto to Calgary (by way of one battle with Ontario weather) - precious time at home - a couple days' worth of sleep - $10 to the cause of a tuna sandwich and a bottle of water at Pearson - the ability to distinguish between one and two pounds of mushrooms - to the Canucks, twice - track of what day it is - everything but Cabot Trail in Canadian Monopoly - all previous knowledge of SkyDome - more sleep Found - an airport storage facility that opens at 5 a.m.—just in time to get my bags back - a three seater bench with an electrical outlet down an emergency exit hall across from Korean Air - hours upon hours to watch episodes upon episodes of Sports Night from said bench - Jennifer Hedger on my flight - a house that had five working Christmas lights when we passed on the way to church and only three an hour and a bit later - the two shortest and nicest people in the entire church - two lengths (or shorths) of pipe just about perfect for making one of these - Bear Hunt - that Jeff and I can name a lot of famous Rogers - the Beads and Plenty More discount card I started on this date two years ago - incredible deals on glass beads at Beads and Plenty More and a new discount card - Body Shop plum and nectarine products—yum! - the last two edge pieces for mom's puzzle - one bag of Stash organic earl grey black and green tea - Waldo - a little dude (I will post him in flickr another time) - the rest of Kari's present sitting on my floor in Ottawa |
