First, in response to the chick-ens/-peas, I have received three possible rationales.

GM: "He is making entirely vegan roast chickens using a hummus base. The chickens are for models. Or casts."
SR: "one week's lunches for transient orphans"
LP: "a party for gluten-intolerant vegans and boa constrictors"

Second, I just discovered a few photos on my camera that I'd forgotten about. I sent some new stuff flickr's way, but I was past my limit, so I went back and weeded out a bunch of older/redundant/not especially interesting ones. I haven't been taking a lot of pictures lately, fortunately, but should that change I'll either dump a bunch more of the old stuff or start a second account.

Third, I don't watch too much Colbert Report, but this particular installment of The Word summarizes much of the commentary I've been appreciating on the new Survivor. I've never followed the show, so I won't comment further.

Fourth, how/why does my back feel better after a five-hour mini-van ride than before? Now I have to go to work tomorrow. Sulk.
Update: early morning sneezing fit = ha ha, no I don't

Fifth, guestbooks continue to be deranged. But I really don't want to leave dland. So, that will continue to suck, I guess.

Sixth, I found out what mom, dad, brother and sister-in-law are getting me for my birthday, and it's pretty great.

Seventh, speaking of subscriptions, my first GCTC season started off with a, "yes, that was really quite good," but I'd be withholding if I didn't admit I'm most excited for the next one.

Eighth, I like to draw.

Ninth, nothing in particular, it's just that nine is better than eight ever was.
